Ransom is the moving story, part real—part imagined,of the small Vermont community of West Rochester, and how it experienced the Civil War through the letters of its soldiers. A tapestry of the lives of the soldiers and the townspeople, the story is lovingly conveyed through music, songs, scenes and the letters themselves. Our production is a world premiere. Come and experience the life, love, humor and sadness of a town going to war, a town that could be your own.
